Big T Sell Off--For some reason this won't work, but get on the FS site and check it out.............

Time to fire off some e-mails folks. I hope everyone has taken a look at the proposed sales in your neighborhood. If everyone does this, and comments appropriately, things should work out well, I hope. We can never give up public water, EVER.

Comment here, SRS_Land.Sales@fs.fed.us.

or go to Forest Service Website and wade through it, and take a look.

Now what just exactly did I miss here???

My Webpage

I thought this was dead. If this parcel is still being considered "excess" & the FS is pushing a sale it shouldn't be under the SRS. If it's up for sale, someone should contact your Senator & make certain all other options are considered first. If it's supposed to benefit the local school districts, they should have the first option on it's deposition. Then, you might consider why the USFS wants to get rid of it, & whether the public should take some action to make it viable to conserve as a recreation area. Basically, what's the real story???

I think it was more stunned that actually dead. Maybe what we're seeing is administrative residue, but we better keep watching it.
