Thought this place could use a good trip report. Been out and about when the weather has allowed. It has been fun. Even did a short float with a couple of board members. Good times!

Most excellent!

Gorgeous water/fish/dogs/scenery. The run pictured in the 7th shot has me salavating. I need to get better at that hand shot. I tend to fumble more than Adrian Peterson.

I was able to get out and do a little winter fishing myself last weekend:

What a great sight to get to this spot and see that noone had been there for at least a week, or at least since this snow had fallen:

Had a few of these:

More evidence of Eric's flexi midges catching fish:

Not a lot of fish, but it was sure a nice day to get out on the water for a couple of hours:

Here's a photo of on of my early Jan day out. I'd never seen eagles doing this before but apparently is not uncommon this time of year.

Nice to see so many bald eagles. It wasn't that long ago that DDT put them on the endangered species list. A great success story.

I just thought it was cool that I wasn't the only one who saw eagles having a get together.

I hardly ever used to see them and now I see baldies all the time and the last two years, I've been seeing a golden eagle here and there.
