I posted this before just as the site got up and running back in October but thought I'd throw it up again as we have so many new members. Perhaps someone can use this stuff...
Doing a little house cleaning and have a couple sticks lying about that I haven't used in a good long while. Time to let 'em go...
1. Sage RPL+ 490, 2 piece. Excellent shape with original sock and tube. Normal cork soiling from use and a scratch or two on the aluminum reel seat from attaching/removing reel. No serious nicks or scratches to the finish. Finish is probably mottled with water spots from last use...I'll clean this up before I let her go. Can't strap her to a pack so I don't use her much. Asking $300 OBO.
2. Sage VPS "Light" 590, 3 piece. Very lightly used...perhaps 4 days on the water. Little bit of cork soiling from use, little bit of scratching/smudging on reel seat from attachment/removal of reel. Original divided cordura tube. Asking $250 OBO. I've got umpteen 5 wts laying around so this one doesn't see the water much...good nymphing/indicator rod.
Also, just picked up a Dyna King and I'm selling my old vise.
3. Renzetti Traveller. Vise has both the pedestal and the c-clamp with it including an extra aluminum shaft for use with the c-clamp (it's a bit longer than the shaft for the pedestal). In addition it has the standard screw jaws and a set of midge cam jaws. There is a small chip on one of the jaws for the midge cam...to this point, it hasn't presented much of an issue but the jaws were just purchased in April and Renzetti should either fix or replace. Also has the bobbin cradle. Vise is 6 years old and has been well used but is still going strong. Outside of the noted chip in the midge jaw, there is no damage. Vise currently retails for around $160, extra jaws are another $70 or so, and I think the pedestal package is about $40 retail. Make me an offer for the package.
