Guys,
I will be able to attend only a very small portion of the meeting, which is the presentation of our chapter's current project to the State Board. There are more important members in our faction/cause who will be there all day. Considering the rough week I've had with a very sick Grandmother in the hospital and a doubled work load, I may not even be able to make this. When it rains it pours unsure.gif . We'll see how the day unfolds.............TU on the priority list is well below family and work.

However, I was able to view the meeting agenda, and nothing on there hints at any indication that COTU will be taking on public access as a new project, but as anyone who has ever attended any meeting for anything knows that things come up, and things get dragged out, and who knows what they will end up talking about. President's Report could be anything. I'm in good graces with our Chapter President, who will be there all day, and I should be able to get a copy of the minutes at some point, so I will pass along any information that might be relavent towards Public Access. This is the best I can do under these circumstances.

You're a good man Charlie Brown. Thanks for the update and I hope Grandma recovers quickly.

FYI,
Talked to the guys, 3 of whom were there all day, and no mention was made of COTU working for public access. This doesn't mean they won't, and, with it being such a monumental work, they may be setting up their Bowling Pins before they dive in. But no official word, nor even any hub-bub.

...local TU's position is "public access" is not part of the mission statement & should not be addressed unless it directly affects habitat issues...

...of course, somehow that didn't hold true for the "boat Launch to Nowhere", that has no put ins above it or take outs below it, when the G&F board member asked for TU's support... Thinking.gif Shame On You.gif
