Hey Folks,

This may be interesting to some of the new tyers on this forum...

I will be teaching a basic fly tying course (2 hours each, 3 sessions) at Crossroads Church in Loveland starting Feb 15th. It's FREE!, all materials supplied. If you have tools, great, but not necessary as they can be provided too.

There are no religious sub-agendas...just purely fly tying held at the Church facility (5420 N. Taft, Loveland, CO). I go to the church but am not a member, so that's my only affiliation. I'll be teaching a minimum of 6-8 patterns all specific to Colorado waters, (hoping to get to 12 patterns if we have time) and will include a special tying trick/tip for each fly that is not normally taught.

So, if you want to learn some basic fly tying skills and a few tricks to fast-track the learning process, feel free to join us. I already have 34 folks signed up, mostly new to the craft or have never tied a fly and wanting to know more.

Oh, I also need to beg for some helpers. Obviously I can't teach 34+ folks at once. I'll be demonstrating via camera/large-screen and will need rovers to help the students. Any one who feels they can help me teach, please email me P/M.

Steve.

That's awesome. I would love to help if I lived a little closer. Good luck with your lessons.

Hey FF,

That's great that you are willing to share your knowledge with others. I wish I lived closer. It would be a good opportunity to get to know more people from the area.
