I am the CDOW fisheries biologist who covers Grand and Summit counties, CO. I'm having trouble assembling a crew to help me electrofish our standard stations for population monitoring on the Blue River in the Silverthorne area this next week. Right now it looks like Wednesday would work the best, if I can get the people. The local flyshop and TU people have not come through for me. I need 8 people in addition to myself and my technician. Right now I'm about 4 people short, and I've had to beat the bushes for the folks I do have. I know there are a fair number of Grand/Summit/Front Range people on this board who might like to help out with this. I'm looking for folks who are physically completely comfortable wading, and have their own chest waders and polarized glasses. Please drop me a line at jon.ewert@state.co.us if this interests you.
